This week many of us have experienced intense rage, strong emotion and frustration. In between these though there’s been a lot of gratitude, joy and peace. The intensity of our emotions, which are quickly becoming tangled with our mind, is strong. Our ‘lower’ mind likes to join in when we feel such a range of emotion. So it may help us to stay ultra aware of our thoughts at the moment to ensure we don’t go on a negative downward spiral.
We’ve had so much to focus on, to think about, to organise and to tend to that we may have felt like we are running on fast forward these past days. We’ve had to seriously pick and choose our priorities and what we will invest our energy into. Before attempting anything it’s been helpful to ask ourselves if this is essential to be focusing on right now, can it wait or can ....
