Twin Flames - merging - by Lee-Anne Peters
Twin Flames - merging physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually
The only rule about Twin Flames is that there literally are no rules. Anything goes, which is governed by the soul involved. All I can share with you is my story and how it was for me. It may be similar for you, or it may be completely different, please always keep the ‘no rules’ in mind when you read anything relating to Twin Flames as there is a lot of misinformation out there.
Here’s just a little on my story to get you up to speed if you don’t know. My Twin Flame and I remembered our LOVE at the end of 2008. I’d just ended my marriage and not long afterwards Cory and I reconnected online. We’d known each other for exactly three months prior as Cory was drawn to my Temple of Balance work, but it wasn’t until those months later that we realised we’d been waiting for each other. Due to us both living half way across the world (me in Australia and Cory in the USA) we had to wait on some things before we could be together physically. Ten weeks after remembering our LOVE, in late-Feb 2009 Cory flew to Australia to be with me and he’s been here ever since.

In regards to the topic on the full merging of Twin Flames, for us it happened spiritually / energetically first before we even knew of each other. For many years we’d been cross-connecting with each other in our dreams, meditations and even as children. We knew this because upon reconnection we talked about these things. For me, it was very strongly in my dream and meditation state. Our energies where coming together without us even being consciously aware. I also feel that on energetic levels Twin Flames are always connected whether we are aware of it or not. Again, unbeknownst to us those last few months were the most intense. I knew it was getting closer, and that someone was preparing to come into my life. I had no idea of the who, how or when. I found the closer our physical reunion became, the louder our energetic connection became too.
Upon remembering our LOVE we began to merge on the mental and emotional levels. We had many ‘seventeen hour’ straight skype conversations, and during that ten weeks of reconnecting before Cory came to live in Australia I didn’t eat more than a banana every few days and I was sleeping less than three hours a day. I was literally being energised by LOVE. The sensations where so intense that I thought I was going to have a heart attack, I have never felt so much LOVE in my life. During those ten weeks we talked, released our past life wounds which had stopped us being together and we meditated together a lot. We were preparing ourselves for physical reunion.
Physically our merging was not just a sexual connection - although very sacred, we had to learn to live together, and to interact together in our daily life. At this moment, we’ve been living side by side together for almost seven and a half years. From my perspective the toughest, which wasn’t really that bad, of what we’ve had to adjust to on the physical is our different cultural and social backgrounds. How we were brought up was quite different, so we had to adjust and break those down to find a way that worked for us.
Now we are living together we are constantly re-merging on all of those levels. We do our best to accept each other for who we are, and I LOVE it how we complement each other in regards to compatibility and personality. My strong qualities tend to be Cory’s less strong qualities and vice versa.
Although Twin Flame mergence is out of this world, and extremely sacred, it’s important to hold that possibility in your heart, but do your best not to get carried away by the ‘destination’. Twin Flame reunion begins with the individual’s healing, releasing and mergence with themselves - which in truth is what a Twin Flame mergence is - we are reuniting with an extended and expanded version of ourselves. That version will balance us, it will nourish us and it will be relatively easy and fall into place - and it will nurture our individual and combined purpose.
